Course overview

This qualification applies to individuals working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who provide a broad range of technical knowledge and skills, and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.

It suits those working as supervisors, WHS personnel and workers in other WHS-related roles who need to manage risks effectively, apply relevant WHS laws, and contribute to work health and safety within the workplace โ€” in known or changing contexts and within established parameters. It’s the ideal step for building a formal safety career or moving into a dedicated WHS advisor or coordinator position.

Packaging: 5 elective units are required โ€” 3 must be from Group A, with the remaining 2 chosen from Group A, Group B, or another endorsed qualification at the same AQF level (one may come from a Certificate III or Diploma). Our trainers help you choose electives relevant to your role.
