This nationally recognised skill set addresses the skills and knowledge required to lead a quality audit in a broad range of industries.

Whether you’re moving into a lead auditor role or formalising experience you already have, the Lead Auditor Skill Set takes you through the full audit lifecycle โ€” participating in audits, initiating and planning them, leading the audit team on site, and reporting findings to management. It’s ideal for quality, WHS, environmental and compliance professionals who conduct or oversee management-system audits against standards such as the ISO 9000 family.

What you'll be able to do

  • Plan and prepare for a quality audit, including scope, criteria and audit plan
  • Lead an audit team, gather objective evidence and manage on-site activities
  • Identify non-conformances and evaluate them against audit criteria
  • Prepare and present clear, defensible audit reports and recommendations
